The PTE Server (Public Transport Entertainment) is a professional high-end video server/router designed to match the extremely demanding public transport specifications. Running the Quantum Live TV Streaming Software, the solution includes a dedicated application for administration and management.

The Coach entertainer is a turn key solution providing all the elements needed to feed up to 50 passengers on journey with digital entertainment giving simultaneous access to a variety of services like LiveTV, VoD, Journey infornation, etc.
Moreover the A/V loopthrough enables wired value added applications for the travellers (like itinerary info, digital signage, Alert info, etc) displayed on fixed large screens while dedicated info to the driver (like Emergency Alerts, Fleet info, e-calls) are wirelessly dispatched on the dedicated wireless pocket console. The Coach entertainer consist of: -
ECS (Entertainment Coach Server): a central unit integrating satellite and terrestrial receiver, VoD repository, WiFi router and the Quantum Live TV Streaming Software to manage and deliver to passenger mobile entertainment in a ruggedized automotive grade 1 DIN design; - Dedicated roof mount - dual diversity in a single package - DVB-SH/H small form factor antennas, optimized for the S-Band satellite reception;
- Radio Adaptive and Beamforming WiFi ceiling-mount cells (usually 2) for an optimal traffic load management;
- A wireless console (Touch screen 4.3" display PMP includes GPS, HSDPA, WiFi and customized MMI) for the driver used for system configuration and traffic / infomobility / service information display and e-calls;
